Storms, floods to value PHL $124 billion by 2050

STRONG STORMS, heavy flooding and extended droughts could lead to round $124 billion in losses to the Philippine financial system between 2022 and 2050, in keeping with analysis firm GHD.
This interprets to a mean annual gross home product (GDP) lack of 0.7% for the Philippines, GHD stated in a press release following the discharge of its report “Aquanomics: The economics of water danger and future resilience.”
