‘Bison World’ looks for business and stakeholder support
FARGO — The Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation is looking for business and stakeholder support for Bison World.
The newly re-named theme park, previously Buffalo City Park, is expected to have about 250,000 visitors a year upon opening, according to recent findings. It’s also expected that 8.8 million people will drive directly by the park on I-94 each year.
The project will cost about $60 million to complete, said the JSDC. Once it has the funding, the Jamestown theme park will take about 18 months to complete.
JSDC authorized $60,000 in economic development funds to complete architectural and engineering work earlier
